Onion - Ishikura

Sow in March-April in open ground in rows and thin out slightly after 6 weeks. Also very suitable for sowing in autumn for an early harvest in spring. Ishikura has a mild flavour and is ideal for raw vegetable salads. This stem onion develops a long, 2-3 cm thick stem that resembles leek.
